Mihara Horse Riding Club

Mihara Horse Riding Club is located in Mihara,also known as Uruma City,and is approximately 10 minutes away from Camp Courtney.with a beautiful view of the ocean just across the street,Mihara offers pony rides,private and semi-private lessons,group jumping sessions,scout tours,horse riding events, sportsmanship clinics,riding clinics and beach and village tours.The riding format at Mihara is English,but riders of any background are welcome.

Mihara Horse Riding Club can accommodate both beginners and experienced riders and offers the use of 10 horses and 3 ponies.Recommended age for lessons is 7 years and up,but young children can drop in and enjoy pony rides for 10 dollars.

Lessons can be arranged

Lessons can be arranged for either a half hour or a full hour.We offer 2 horse shows per year,so that all active members and students can display their riding skills to the public and win ribbons.

Mihara welcomes all riders,American and Japanese alike.It is truly a club where the East meets West and everyone shares the same love and passion for horse riding.

The facility has two arenas,one measuring 210 x 130 feet,and a round pen arena measuring 43 feet in diameter.There are 14 stalls,a tack room,shower and changing facilities,plus lighting for night riding.There is no covered arena.

Fees for joining the Mihara Horse Riding Club are as follows:

Membership fees:	$100.00 for individual membership-per year.
Lesson fees:	$150.00 for family membership-per year.
	$ 30.00 per lesson.
Pony Rides:	$ 10.00 per pony ride.
Beach / Village Tours:	$ 70.00 per visitor, $50.00 per member.
Riding Clinics:	$100.00 per visitor, $80.00 per member.
Sportsmanship Clinics:	$ 30.00 per rider.
